Maximilian Karakatsanis is film director and writer, born in Germany in 1994. During school, he made his first short films, completed vocational training in montage and cinematography. He worked as an actor at independent theaters before beginning studies in New German Literature.
Literature. In 2018, he moved to the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, where he is majoring in directing and writing. His works range from fictional films and documentaries to radio plays and poetry and has been screened at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, among others.
