Laurens Pérol was born in 1995. He is a German director and writer living and working in Norway. Laurens holds a BA in Moving Images from Nordland College of Art and Film.
Laurens works have been presented at a number of festivals, including International Film Festival Hof, TIFF. For his directing work, Laurens won the prize «Skårungen 2022» (Newcomer 2022) and got an honorable mention at Minimalen Short Film Festival.
Å Øve (Practice) is his feature debut and won him ‘Best First Feature’ at Nordic Film Days Lübeck and the ‘Hof Critics Award’ at renowned Hof International Film.
