Born and raised in Sardinia, Giuseppe Garau moved to Turin at the age of 18. After creating award-winning documentaries and short films, he began exploring cinematic grammar and the 16mm format.

L'Incidente, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Slamdance 2024, is his first feature film.
