Born in Hamburg in 1986, Arne Körner studied film with Wim Wenders at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg, the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris and Werner Herzog’s Rogue Film School. Körner’s short films have been shown at over 200 national and international festivals and have won numerous awards. The Bicycle, Körner’s first feature, had its world premiere at the Montreal World Film Festival and won the Jury Prize. His second feature, Gasman, premiered at the 41st Cairo International Film Festival and at the Festival l’Europe autour de l’Europe en 2021.

With 15 Juergen Blin ran away from home and was hired by a cargo ship. This was followed by an apprenticeship as a butcher and the discovery of boxing. In 1971, he fought Muhammad Ali. Blin is a biter, someone who makes his own way. Mostly because of strong setbacks, he's been fighting all his life. A man who can do nothing.

2012 – Schurback Role : Producer, Director, ScrenwriterSynopsis : All his life, Wilfried Schurback sold umbrellas. Day after day, for thirty years, he squatted in his half-basement store until no customers showed up. In his words, he never digitized. After closing his business and forcing himself to do so, he applied for unemployment benefits. The Job Centre sent him to job coaching. He went through a series of seminars: motivation training, Excel, Word, but also yoga and recreational group activities. Herr Schurback went through the complete system for people over 50/60. After completing his application profile and not even receiving a response, positive or negative, Herr Schurback learns about the secondary job market. He is given a so-called "One Euro" job. End of line as a warehouseman; portrait of a failed entrepreneur.
