Bruno Ojeda

Bruno Ojeda, born in Barcelona in 1991, is a director, screenwriter, and film professor. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Sevilla and a Master’s degree in Creative Documentary from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. He has developed, directed, and written fiction and documentary projects such as Cuando Las Cigarras Callen, Del Tacto, and Las Malditas. His films have been selected at festivals including the Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla, DokumentArt, and the Málaga Film Festival.

Elisabeth Brun

An Oslo-based filmmaker and theorist, Elisabeth Brun (b. 1977) explores the impact of technology on perception and territory. Holding a PhD in Media Studies from the University of Oslo and a degree from the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, she directed documentaries for NRK for a decade before turning to the film essay. Her work, awarded the Ivan Juritz Prize for Creative Experiment, has been presented internationally at venues such as Vienna Shorts, LIAF, the Seattle Art Museum, and Grimstad. Through film, installation, and writing, she investigates the entanglement between digital tools and lived experiences, often anchoring her visual research in her Norwegian origins.

Nikos Theodosiou

Nikos Theodosiou was born in Athens in September 1946. He studied cinema in Athens and then, after the 1967 coup d'état, continued his studies in Paris. There, he attended seminars by Jean Rouch on documentary film, Henri Langlois on the history of cinema, and Marc Ferro on "Cinema and Society". He remained in Paris until 1974. Back in Greece, he became involved in film, journalism, photojournalism, radio, literature and historical research. To date, 31 of his books have been published and he has directed over 30 films.

Olia Verriopoulou

Born in Athens in 1992, Olia Verriopoulou lives and works between Athens and Paris, where she studied cinema (Paris VII-Diderot, École des Gobelins). In 2021, she directed Sacralisons, her first short film. In 2025, she completed La Première Image, a short fiction film, and Histoires d'un mensonge, a feature-length documentary that premiered at IDFA. For the past ten years, she has been involved in programming and organizing film festivals.

Georgi M. Unkovski

Georgi M. Unkovski is a Macedonian writer and director born in New York in 1988. He spent his childhood and youth in Macedonia before returning to the United States to study at the Rochester Institute of Technology – Eastman’s School of Photography, where he earned a degree in Fine Arts. During that period, he published the photography book Be Right Back, focused on gaming culture and the young people who frequented internet cafés in Skopje. His passion for cinema then lead him to Prague, where he completed a master's degree at the prestigious FAMU, Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts, with a thesis exploring the intersections between video games and cinema. Back in Skopje, he worked as a director for one of the country's leading advertising agencies, FUTURA 2/2, as well as for Cinema Futura, a local production company dedicated to filmmaking. A Sundance Institute alumnus, Georgi M. Unkovski has directed more than ten short films, notably Sticker (2020), which won over 50 international awards and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. DJ Ahmet is his first feature film, which is also being presented at Sundance in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition.

Frederick Wiseman

Frederick Wiseman was born on January 1, 1930 in Boston (Massachusetts, USA). After studying art at Williams College and law at Yale Law School, he was appointed Professor of Law at Boston University in 1956 and at Harvard University in 1959. Despite this brilliant career, Wiseman soon turned his back on his academic career, producing several films.

Andrijana Stojkovic

Andrijana Stojković is a Serbian director with a master's degree in film and television directing from the Belgrade School of Dramatic Arts. In 2012, her documentary The Box received a special mention at the L'Europe autour de L'Europe Festival. She received a second mention in 2018 for her documentary Wongar. She has received two nominations at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. Mileva Einstein, Andrijana Stojković's third hybrid feature film, premiered at the eighth edition of the Belgrade International Documentary Film Festival in February 2026.

Mari Käki

Mari Käki, M.A., is a creative coach and professional supervisor working in the field of media and education. Since 2020 she has been teaching leadership and group dynamics for upcoming filmmakers as a visiting lecturer at the Aalto University film school, Finland. Giant’s Kettle is also her first feature.

Markku Hakala

Markku Hakala, M.Sc, b.1975, is a Finnish artist/filmmaker exploring cinema as a medium of intuition. For six years he worked duo with his parner Mari Käki on his first feature Giant’s Kettle, which was introduced at Tallinn Black Nights, was awarded as The Best Debut Film at Festival de Cinema de Girona 2024, and has brought him multiple awards for direction, cinematography and sound design. Prior to films he has also worked as a computer science researcher and entrepreneur.

Natalie Halla

Born in Austria in 1975, Natalie Halla studied law and translation (Russian and Spanish) at the University of Graz. She interned at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Peru, an experience that inspired her first documentary, Drugmothers (2021). Since 2010, she has been producing, writing, and directing documentaries focused on humanitarian issues.
