The Festival Awards Europe by Europe
🏆 Rewarding works that challenge, enlighten and connect
At Europe by Europe, awards are not showcase trophies. They are intended as levers of recognition, acts of trust, and sometimes even acts of cultural resistance.
Each prize reflects a facet of our commitment: to defend a free, diverse, audacious cinema, which comes from Europe… but above all which speaks to the world.

The Prix SAUVAGE is the festival’s historic prize, awarded since 2012.
It rewards the best European feature-length fiction film from a selection of new films produced in the two years preceding the edition.

🔹 Jury : composed of European cinema professionals

🐾 The Prix LUPETO — European Student Jury
Awarded by a jury of students from European film academies and schools, the Prix LUPETO (the little wolf) is the youth equivalent of the Prix SAUVAGE CORTO.
It allows us to combine critical enthusiasm, a variety of training and a sensitive approach to the image.
This prize is also a networking tool, where young jurors discover films together, exchange ideas, debate, and sometimes meet the authors.
🌀 Prizes and Europe: more than a prize list, a cultural policy
Our awards embody a vision of European cinema: free in its forms, plural in its voices, open in its stories, political in its perspectives.
And this is why they also have a symbolic function: to support a cinema of diversity, an auteur cinema, a transnational cinema. A cinema that questions and connects.
