Press
"Few directors are able to so boldly inject high culture into the soul of their films as Krzysztof Zanussi does, while still delivering a captivating historical drama. In "Ether" (Eter), the subject is the abuse of science to control individuals and subjugate the masses, depriving people of their free will and the ability to choose between good and evil. (…) The questions Zanussi poses about the runaway science are very timely, even if it is rare to see them addressed head-on from the perspective of religious ethics."
Deborah Young, The Hollywood Reporter
"The seasoned filmmaker oscillates between his extraordinary ability to recount existential drifts and his propensity to instruct his characters with theological doctrines."
Javier H. Estrada, Caimán Cuadernos de Cine
