We are pleased to announce the opening of the call for films for the 21st edition of the Europe by Europe Festival, which will be held in Paris from March 30 to April 13, 2026.
🎥 European Auteur Cinema: Over to You
As every year, the festival showcases unique, committed, and daring auteur works – fiction, documentaries, short films, experimental or animated – from all over Greater Europe (member countries of the Council of Europe).
We are looking for free and plural perspectives, capable of crossing aesthetic, geographical, and narrative boundaries.

📅 Selection Process
Submitted films will be reviewed by a selection committee composed of European film professionals. We pride ourselves on providing a platform where originality, artistic commitment, and diversity of voices will be particularly valued.

Your film may compete in one of the following selections:
🐺 SAUVAGE Prize (fiction feature films)
🎞️ PRÉSENT Prize (documentaries)
🎬 SAUVAGE CORTO Prize (short films)
🌙 LUNA Prize (fiction – youth jury)
🐾 LUPETO Prize (short films – student jury)

The Europe by Europe Festival, founded by Irena Bilic, welcomes filmmakers from across the continent to Paris every year for two weeks of screenings! It also features meetings, conferences, special events, and convivial evenings where filmmakers and audiences can exchange ideas, share experiences, and celebrate the art of European cinema together.
