Synopsis

Mary lies in a morgue. Although dead, she contemplates her past and her relationship with her lover. Supervisor Doyle observes her body and explores the link between her body and her name.

Christina Ruloff is a graduate of the London Film School and lives in Zurich. Her short films Sleepaway (2017) and Olowe and I (2019) have been shown at festivals around the world. The Body and the Name is her second collaboration with Howard Barker.
