{"id":22278,"date":"2026-02-13T12:05:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-13T11:05:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.evropafilmakt.com\/personnalites\/barbara-peikert\/"},"modified":"2026-03-19T10:54:54","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T09:54:54","slug":"barbara-peikert","status":"publish","type":"personnalites","link":"https:\/\/www.evropafilmakt.com\/en\/personnalites\/barbara-peikert\/","title":{"rendered":"Barbara Peikert"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Swiss filmmaker and visual artist <strong>Barbara Peikert<\/strong> has nurtured a fascination for fictional worlds from an early age, decorating her bedroom with moving figures. <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1000 O<\/span><\/em> and <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Cormorant&#8217;s Shadow<\/span><\/em> are her latest experimental films, singular and eccentric, reflecting her artistic research into abstract fictional behaviors, explored through movement, cinematic light and action.<\/p>\n\n<p>The next installments are currently in production and, to date, self-financed by his independent structure Atelier a.\/f. in Switzerland, just like his previous experimental films: <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">WavesWaterWall<\/span><\/em> (2023), <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Snowhsine<\/span><\/em> (2021), <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Periplaneta<\/em><\/span>(2020), <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">AF_SO_MONT_NB<\/span><\/em> (2019), as well as the animated short <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">MI DI WORM no.10<\/span><\/em>. This approach is part of a constant search for an audience that appreciates his work. <\/p>\n\n<p>She began producing experimental films at French universities, where she obtained masters degrees in visual arts and aesthetics (Paris I and Paris VIII).
